INTRODUCTION

The two weeks Training Programme For Malaysian English Lecturers in the TVET Sector kicked off on 8 October 2014 with 200 participants from Polytechnics, Community Colleges as well as Vocational Colleges all over Malaysia. This programme took place at Balik Pulau Polytechnic in Penang. In Oxford, there are 29 participants involved. Let's get to know the participants here!



This programme encompasses a wide scope of technical and vocational aspect in teaching that consists of both language and technical content. There are six highly capable and dedicated trainers from Westminster Kingsway College, United Kingdom took part in this programme. Find out about the trainers here!

14. Resources - including multi-media and visual organisers (multimodality)
15. Focus of assessment & effective error correction
16. Scaffolding content and language learning
17. Cognitive (and higher order thinking) skills across the curriculum
18. Consolidating learning and differentiation; including mixed ability group
19. Learning strategies & independent learning through technology
20. Types of assessment & higher order thinking skills in assessment
21. Support strategies & meeting the needs of all learners
